on the desk
The desk runs 24/7/365. If your question is not here, reach a person at any hour.
01FuelsWhich fuels and grades do you provide?
Marine bunkers and specialty fuel grades, including MGO (ISO 8217 DMA), F-76 (MIL-DTL-16884), VLSFO, HSFO, ULSD, JP-5 (F-44), JP-8 (F-34), gasoline, and kerosene, plus ancillary products: lubricating oils, oil booms, and port logistics.
02CoverageWhich regions do you serve?
North America, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Oceania. Our network runs to 66 named supply locations, listed on the Locations page with the grades and delivery modes available at each. Where a location is newly added, grades are confirmed at nomination.
03GovernmentDo you support U.S. government and defense contracts?
Yes. SAK Industries is a U.S. Government contractor, CAGE code 8DW26, with past performance across the Defense Logistics Agency, U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and U.S. Army installations. Company data, NAICS codes, and our downloadable capability statement are on the Government page.
04TimingWhat are your lead times?
Our desk runs 24/7/365 and responds immediately; delivery timing depends on the port and grade.
05ServiceDo you support emergency fueling?
Yes, round-the-clock attention every day of the year.
06QuotesHow do I request a quote?
Email info@sakind.com, call +1 305 908 8898, or use the contact form. To quote we need six things: quantity, product, ETA/ETD, agent information, vessel specifications, and the method of delivery you want. Tell us the port too and the first reply is a price rather than a question.
07How we workDo you take title to the fuel, and who issues the BDN?
No. SAK Industries arranges marine fuel as agent for disclosed physical suppliers and does not take title to it, and that is the same at every location in our network. The delivering supplier issues the bunker delivery note in its own name, with ours usually alongside it. SAK invoices in its own name and carries the credit, and port agents handle import and export documentation.
08DeliveryWhat delivery modes do you cover?
Land, air, and sea, coordinated to the last mile: barge, truck, terminal, and pipeline, lined up to the port and the timing.
Tell us what you need fueled.
Send the desk an inquiry and we respond immediately, every hour of every day, until the last mile is delivered. To quote we need quantity, product, ETA/ETD, agent, vessel, and the delivery method you want.
